In Northumberland, autumn has definitely arrived! The mornings are darker, the air is cooler and the leaves are starting to turn golden and decorate the ground- my favourite time of year has finally come!
The one thing that truly signifies autumn’s arrival, for me, is the Mustard yellow jumper I own. It only ever gets worn between autumn and winter and comes out the first day a cosy knitted jumper is required- and that day is today.
This is the time of year when it’s my family members’ birthdays ever other week, when my leather skirt that has been hiding in my wardrobe all summer comes out and when I actually enjoy random walks during the day, and cups of hot chocolate- of course!
This year my parents are redecorating the house and it’s upto me on how the conservatory and my bedroom will be decorated. My inner interior designer is finally unleashed, so I’m ready for many IKEA and Next Home trips!
Starting this month I have bought myself a gym membership (queue sarcastic “yay”) as I have decided it is finally time for me to get fit and maybe cut down on the snacks! For me this autumn is all about change, for my health and my bedroom!
I hope everyone has an amazing beginning to the end of 2016!
